Sands Lifestyle’s Final Celebrity Chef Series Event for 2024
Brings Together Two Portuguese Cuisine Maestros
A four-hands collaboration between Chiado’s Henrique Sá Pessoa
and Rui Paula of two-Michelin-starred Casa de Chá Boa Nova
（Macao, Dec. 11, 2024）– Sands Lifestyle is rounding out its exceptional Celebrity Chef Series for the year with four-hands dinners at The Londoner® Macao’s Michelin Selected Portuguese restaurant Chiado from Dec. 12-14. The event will pair two of Portugal’s most celebrated chefs, Henrique Sá Pessoa of Chiado and two-Michelin-starred Alma in Lisbon, and Rui Paula of two-Michelin-starred Casa de Chá Boa Nova in Leça da Palmeira.
Both chefs are Portuguese cuisine experts, cookbook authors, and award-winning restaurateurs with Michelin-starred restaurants. Peers and friends they also share similar professional passions and culinary philosophy. This includes preserving cuisine traditions while showcasing contemporary interpretations through originality and creativity, and presenting stunning plates designed to stimulate all the senses.
Additionally, both Sá Pessoa and Paula focus on the best seasonal produce, and this incudes Portugal’s noted seafood, which features predominately in the six-course menu. Highlights include chef Paula’s Sea bass, kale, Champagne, caviar, and Alentejo pork presa, fermented pepper paste, clams, coriander jus from chef Sá Pessoa. Desserts are also noteworthy, with unusual ingredient combinations including the dish Pear, fennel, olives.
Chiado’s four-hands dinners are priced at MOP 2,588* per person with the option to add wine pairing selections.
